Campaign against rape 2016 #OOULAW

THE CALL FOR ACTION.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It started with her newest husband.
Whenever he is in the same room with my mother,
Her screams and cries become quiet as the minutes tick by.
The tell tales are the bruises,
 And coloured part of her skin
__Though, she hides them well.
I continue to see the same symptoms in my elder sister.
And soon,
It was my turn.
My worst fear is if my juniour of two years,
Sees the same symptoms in me.
NO! my worst fear is when that brutal being
Realises she is also a ripe female.
We are helpless you say,
But I do have a brother.
My only wish is that,
He grows fast enough,
To realise our pain.
AND FIGHT OUR BATTLES.
ABD'QUDUS:
A VICTIM'S ELEGY
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
I'd thought  death came sooner
Until you, with the overpowering grab, sought under.
Grotesque! Horror filled ! Gloom!  were the memories left hanging as effigy
After the involuntary one-night stand.
I'd cried to the heavens,
But my voice reached not even the stratosphere.
I'd begged to be hanged instead, but the hangman was probably on sabbatical.
lo! You forced in, taking more of my un giving self.
You won; and my aching  bones ached no more,
my roaring voice turned whispers,
Until my kicking appendages took final bow,
Until I felt no more,
Until I'd never feel no more.
Wait, before you sheathe  thy sword,
Before you bury the rod,
Before you conjure the devil:
Aren't thee my father?
You looked more like My uncle.
You're similarly built as my brother.
Oh, I'm mistaken, you're My bestie.
What! My fiancรฉ?
No, you're my good neighbour?
I'm sorry for the many guesses, the encounter might have left me with distorted vision.
Maybe you didn't just rape me,
Maybe you raped the whole of me!!!
I ask: are you full now?
*********************
Researches indicate that more than 70% of the perpetrators of this beastly act are people having close ties with the victims . We therefore must be watchful.
I pray for the safety of our girls.
******************
If you wouldn't and I wouldn't, no one would. Our libidal thirsts should be quenched, toeing the right way and manner. World over, women are in the majority, you can
get one legally!!!
